I have not met many visitors to Byron
Bay that don't first comment on the town's unique appearance.
Not only in the natural beauty, but in the way people dress.
When you first come to Byron you immediately
sense that it is a place where self expression is accepted
and promoted. Visitors may arrive in a more conservative fashion
accepted by the masses. And a few days later they're seen
at the markets or walking through town with a new look, experimenting
with the many great designs of clothing that are influenced
by the variety of lifestyle found in Byron Bay. Holiday makers
can relax and feel free to be themselves here.
These days clothes not only decorate your body but also say
something about who you are or what you do in your free time.
Some brands promote an image that is influenced by sport,
music or youth culture. Clothes influenced by a particular
sport like surfing or skating may offer specific technical
features that make doing the sport or dealing with outdoor
elements more enjoyable. This creates an image through a purpose
built design.
Byron bay has a combination of sport, lifestyle and culture
like no other. It is a place where fashion trends are created.
