i'm starting the 1 year audio engineering course in march 2005, and greatly looking forward to it.
a couple of questions for anyone who knows:-
1. what with all the local band activity, i assume that there are plenty of rehearsal rooms in town - is that right? i play drums and i want to be able to practice most days...
2. are there any decent music/computer shops in town, or do you have to go to Brisbane or Sydney?
cheers. |

yes there are rehearsal spaces - quite close to the SAE actually. I rehearse there a couple of times a week.
There are no significant PC shops in town - Gold Coast is your best bet there and only 30-40 minutes away.
There is an Apple store in Byron Bay if that's your flavour.
cheers. |
