Any place to find student work from Film and Animation?

Hi there,
for some weeks now I'm playing with the thought of attenting to an SAE for the Film and Animation Degree course. Now I've found this forum, and have gotten some very mixed feelings about the SAE.
I've recently visited an SAE for a day, and what I saw there wasn't very impressive at all.(regarding their Film and Animation,and especially the Digital Designer stuff they showed, which was in fact very very very bad). My original plan would have been to do some time in Germany,probably in Munich, and then change to Byron Bay.
But what puzzles me is why is there near to none examples of student work available on the SAE website, or have I missed something major like a student galery? Even in their fancy catalogue they only show glossy pictures of their impressive equipment. Seeing the general quality of the work produced there shows alot about the quality of the teachers too.
Just compare that with most other schools offering something like design,film and animation. Wouldn't a film and animation school show of some cool vfx by their students?
