Announcing: Byron Underwater Festival '07 - 10-13 May (UF07)

The 2007 Byron Underwater Festival will be held from Thursday the 10th to Sunday the 13th of May.

The festival will include a underwater photographic shootout competition with over $20,000 worth of prizes, The guest of honor of this years festival is Neville Coleman, one of Australia's underwater pioneers and author of over 50 books. He will dive, give a number of presentations and help with identifying critters.

The festival finale at the Byron Bay Community Centre will see the presentation of the competition winners, the presentation 'Underwater Naturalist' by Neville Coleman and screening of the documentary 'Byron Underwater' ... not to forget the Underwater Village.

A host of other events during the 4 days of the festival will transform Byron Bay into a hub for marine enthusiasts of any kind.
