The skies above Surfers Paradise will erupt in a blaze of colour on Saturday nights in June as Australia’s premier fireworks companies fight out the 2004 Surfers Paradise National Fireworks Championships.
The event will be staged on June 19 & 26, and July 3, with two massive displays being launched each night, from 7pm.
Surfers Paradise Management Association general manager, Paula Price, said the championships are an event not to be missed. |

| We went and checked out the first night - great fireworks, terrible music. Definitely worth a look. Take the family - and a walkman. |
