audio engineering degree program

me and 2 or 3 friends/classmates who are currently enrolled in the audio engineering diploma program in miami fl are graduating in september and are looking to move on to byron bay for the degree program march 07. i was just wondering if anyone's done this program, and what they thought of it. one of our supi's said its more theory/classroom oriented than studio, any truth to that?

also, is there any good place online with long term rental accomodations? most of what i find is short term/weekly/holiday rentals, and we are looking to get a house of some sort for the year we are there. i've found a few long term places online, but its proved to be a pain to find them out of all the holiday stuff.

anyway, any help would be great, thanks

Hi Brian

The best place for long term rentals will be via the local real estate agents.

We don't usually link to too many websites from the forums, seeing as how you're from overseas - and may not be farmiliar with the Australian real estate franchises - here's a link to a list of the local real estate agents.

From here you'll be able to do some searching to find online rental listing and email addresses.

Try this List of Byron's Real Estate Agents.

atleast if you lose illegal drugs in the carpark there will be a public announcement of them being found and a person you can safely retrieve them from...
Its a place where the staff can live the easy life and make some money too. Same for the students. Although I personally think Byron Bay is a horrible place. Then again I dont go much on drugs, drunk teenagers and metro hippies either...
the place lacks class in all forms and kinds. Those people have had way too much dna destroyed through prelonged exposure to uv radiation...
